Friday 17th June
Tonight we attended a production of The Wizard of Oz at the Embassy Theatre, Skegness. The cast was made up of staff and pupils of the Linkage Community Trust, pupils from Seathorne Primary School, The Biz Theatre School and the compere was Geoff Hill.

Linkage Community Trust is a charity which works with people with learning disabilities and provides them with education, care and employment services.
This is the seventh year that the pupils from Linkage Community Trust have performed at the Embassy and they played to nearly a full house.
The other invited guests included the Mayor and Mayoress of Spilsby and the Chairman and Leader of East Lindsey District council.

It was so obvious to see that the cast of the show were enjoying it as much as the audience. There was a lot of clapping, cheering and the occasional booing (but only at The Wicked Witch of the West, and she deserved it).
I hate to imagine how many hours of hard work had gone into the production, but in my opinion it was well worth it.
All in all a fun evening for everyone and a huge well done to all those involved.
