This evening we were invited to the The Rotary Club of Skegness 77th Annual Charter as the guests of President Margaret.
The evening consisted of a meal comprising totally of Lincolnshire products, some short speeches and entertainment by Mark Waddington a comic magician.
The idea of featuring Lincolnshire produce for the meal was inspired. I had forgotten how tasty Stuffed Chine is, and how better to end a meal than with Lincolnshire Plum Bread and cheese. The main course…………well it had to be lincolnshire sausages with mash.
It was pleasing to see that the event so well attended. With the Rotary Club doing such fantastic work, not only in Skegness but around the world, it is good to see it going from strength to strength.
Many thanks to President Margaret for the invitation and the other members of the Rotary Club of Skegness for making us feel so welcome.

Look out for the Shelter Box in the Tower Gardens on the 10th June and if you see a bloke there in the tent who looks a bit like a Mayor, I’m sure he would appreciate a nice red…….nudge, nudge.
